Tai Chung Says:

Anyolite, also known as ruby in zoisite, is a captivating gemstone that combines the vibrant red of ruby with the earthy green of zoisite. It is a naturally occurring mineral combination found primarily in Tanzania, although smaller deposits have been discovered in other countries as well.

Anyolite is formed when ruby crystals grow within a matrix of zoisite, creating a distinctive and visually striking contrast between the two minerals. The ruby crystals typically appear as deep red or pinkish-red splashes or spots against a background of green zoisite.

The green zoisite component of anyolite is usually a translucent to opaque mineral with shades ranging from light green to dark green. It often exhibits patterns and streaks that add depth and character to the gemstone.
